I recently watched xSparkage's makeup room tour (which is amazing by the way) and she had the most amazing nail polish shelves with unique features. These shelves had a step up on each shelf to hold twice as much polish. They were also very well put together and solid, unlike the acrylic shelves that many people have. These particular shelves were $150 a pop. I was not convinced that I needed to pay that much, so I had my dad build custom shelves. My design has seven shelves instead of six and a cute little railing suspended on each level.
Sephora also had some great deals on nail polish recently. They had a promo of 20% off of all sale items. So I bought three different nail polish value sets.

Mermaid Mani!
OPI's Mermaid Tears
OPI's Go For It Green
I was sooo in love with this mani! Both colors applied really well. Go For It Green is a great layering polish and I can't wait to try it over some other colors.

Shiny Dancer + Fault Line
Shiny Dancer is an OPI for Sephora polish. It's a dark shimmery gun metal color. It looks a little blue in my picture, but if anything it is more dark grey. The China Glaze Fault Line polish didn't crackle as much as I would have liked it too, but I probably applied it too thick. Overall I really liked the look, but I would have wanted more of the Shiny Dancer to show through. I felt so bad ass with just that color on lol, but the Fault Line brightens it up.
Misa + Crackle
The base color is Misa's Genie in this Bottle. It's a grey with pink iridescence. It's such a nice color with a great formula. This really makes me want to buy more Misa polishes. The crackle color is China Glaze Cracked Concrete. I really like this dark grey crackle. Some of the crackle colors being released I just couldn't see myself using, but this one is really nice. I got the Misa polish from Head2ToeBeauty.com for about $3.00. Shipping was a little expensive, but if you get enough polish, it's worth it.

Watermelon Nails!
Pink- Zoya Lolly
Green- Zoya Mitzi
Seeds- Black Sharpie
Sometimes you're in a pinch and don't have black nail polish so you have to use black sharpie! hahaha I'm not very good at working with matte nail polishes yet, but I'm gonna keep trying. It's just hard for me to get them to not be sorta clumpy. And they dry fast in my opinion. But I ended up loving this anyway. (Although the sharpie wore off slowly.)
My Easter Nails
I absolutely loved this mani!
Thumb- OPI Rupple's Wiggin
Pointer- Zoya Caitlin
Middle- OPI What's with the Cattitude
Ring- China Glaze For Audrey
Pinky- Gargantuan Green Grape
I used Sinful Colors Bad Chick Nail Art Polish and Essie Kisses & Bisses as a top coat. I used at least 2 coats for the base colors. I needed 3 coats for the OPI colors.
OPI DS Coronation
I really love this color! It's my first holo polish that I've tried. My iPhone doesn't do it justice, but it has an AMAZING holo effect. I've seen the OPI DS polishes at Ultas around my area, but I had never seen Coronation at any. So I had to snap it up when I stumbled upon it. Even though it was $12.50, it was still worth it to me. I used about 4 coats to get the opacity that I wanted. I would definitely recommend buying this if you can find it.
