Awesome Lippie Deals/Haul!

Well my favorite time to buy makeup is swiftly approaching... the holidays. You know what that means, palettes and value sets galore! Not all value sets are really that good of a deal. That's why I always check on the prices & sizes of the items included to make sure. Most recently I picked up two sets from Sephora. I got the Too Faced La Creme de La Creme Long Lasting Lip Collection and the Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip set for 2013.

Amazing Nail Polish Shelf + Nail Polish Savings

I recently watched xSparkage's makeup room tour (which is amazing by the way) and she had the most amazing nail polish shelves with unique features. These shelves had a step up on each shelf to hold twice as much polish. They were also very well put together and solid, unlike the acrylic shelves that many people have. These particular shelves were $150 a pop. I was not convinced that I needed to pay that much, so I had my dad build custom shelves. My design has seven shelves instead of six and a cute little railing suspended on each level.

Sephora also had some great deals on nail polish recently. They had a promo of 20% off of all sale items. So I bought three different nail polish value sets.

Sephora Much?

I went onto the website looking to get the Too Faced eye brushes, but ended up getting a bunch of other things to try.

The most amazing brush ever!

The Sephora Professional Airbrush is the best thing that ever happened to liquid foundation! This is another product that the lady at Sephora used on me. It is by far the softest brush I have ever felt. Every time I use it it gives the most flawless finish. I always used a sponge before this brush. There's no way I'm going back now!

O-Gloss Gold!

The lady that did my makeup at Sephora for my birthday put this on me and I LOVED it! I've never used the regular O-Gloss and I had never heard of O-Gloss Gold. This stuff is amazing though. It give your lips just the prettiest gold sheen. It's not sticky at all and doesn't have an obnoxious taste or smell. This was the perfect lip gloss to tie my look together. It's definitely worth a try!

Golden Birthday Nails!

I used 2 coats of OPI Glitzerland and 1 coat of Sephora by OPI Looks Like Rain Dear. They were sparkley beyond belief and exactly what I was looking for.

My Golden Birthday!

So May 20th was my golden birthday! I had an awesome weekend filled with fun, friends, and good food! Thursday my family & I went to Benihana. Friday I had friends over at my house. And Saturday, I went out to eat at Crave restaurant with a bunch of my girlfriends. I got my hair done by my best friend and my makeup done at Sephora (for the V.I.B. event). I also got some goodies at Sephora (I'll post pics in other posts).

Shiny Dancer + Fault Line

Shiny Dancer is an OPI for Sephora polish. It's a dark shimmery gun metal color. It looks a little blue in my picture, but if anything it is more dark grey. The China Glaze Fault Line polish didn't crackle as much as I would have liked it too, but I probably applied it too thick. Overall I really liked the look, but I would have wanted more of the Shiny Dancer to show through. I felt so bad ass with just that color on lol, but the Fault Line brightens it up.
